Clerkship Week 2011 - Monday 16 - Thursday 19 May (week 11)
Applying for a summer clerkship can be stressful, so we have organised some free events during week 11 including the Clerkship Fair and a few workshops to help you prepare best for the application process. Workshops will be run by representatives from law firms - this means this is your chance to hear firsthand what they do and don't like, as well as finding out more about each firm.
For penultimate year students (4th years and 2nd year graduate students) these events are a must - especially if you are unsure about whether you want to complete a summer clerkship. These events will let you know what you can expect and if you choose to apply, how best to do so. Students from other years are welcome at all Clerkship Week events, especially since skills like interviewing, writing a good CV/resume and cover letter, making a good first impression and networking are general skills that you'll need for any job application.
To secure your place at one or more of these events please RSVP here!
