The Paper Presentation Competition invites students from all years to submit and present a paper they have written for a Law subject. All papers will be considered but those marked with a Distinction or High Distinction will be the most sought after.

A diverse range of experienced and highly knowledgeable judges will comprise the judging panel and will mark all papers. As well as submitting the paper to be marked, all competitors must make a 10 minute oral presentation to the judging panel.

The five highest scoring competitors will present their paper again at the Grand Final in front of top legal figures including judges, barristers, solicitors and academics. In 2010 our judging panel included Professor David Weisbrot AM.

In 2010 the Competition was won by William Coote, with Naomi Jung being awarded runner-up.
