Do you want to help others? Are you searching for opportunities to engage with your community? Did you enrol in law for the purpose of improving access to justice? Do you want to do more than just listen to i-lectures and rock up to 80% of your tutes? YES, YES, YES … then look no further! GET INVOLVED in 2011!

This year there are so many different ways EVERYONE and ANYONE can get involved. Getting involved in fun, rewarding and can help improve so many of your practical people and problem solving skills.

“So HOW do I get involved?” you ask.

Let me outline a checklist of ways to get involved in 2011:

  3. If you are struggling financially apply for an Equity Fund Grant [applications close Friday week 2]
  4. Tell us your story or become part of the production team of the new Equity and Social Justice Radio Podcast Series
  5. Want to learn more about Community Legal Centres? Come to our MUSCLE Taste Tester Panel Discussion Event [week 5]
  6. Starting with the PILCH Walk for Justice, celebrate, for the first time ever, a Fortnight for Social Justice brought to you by the EWG MUSCLE and Social Justice Subcommittees. Keep watching for the final two-week program.
