Events
The Events Portfolio is responsible for fostering community and engagement within the Macquarie University Law Society by delivering a diverse calendar of social and sporting events throughout the year. Led by the Events Vice-President and supported by the Events team, the portfolio plans and executes MULS’ major flagship events, including Law Ball, Start of Semester Drinks, themed social events, sports competitions, and intervarsity collaborations.
The portfolio aims to create inclusive and memorable experiences that allow law students to connect beyond the classroom, build friendships, and feel a strong sense of belonging within the Macquarie Law community. By providing opportunities to socialise, unwind, and engage with peers across different year levels, the Events Portfolio plays an important role in enhancing the overall student experience and contributing to a vibrant and supportive society culture.

Hey everyone! I’m Chantelle, a Bachelor of Laws and Psychology student and the Events Vice-President of the Macquarie University Law Society for 2026. I’m passionate about building a strong and welcoming law community, and I work with the Events team to deliver the social and sporting events that bring MULS students together throughout the year. From Law Ball to semester drinks and themed events, my goal is to create spaces where students can connect, unwind, and make the most of their time at Macquarie Law. I’m excited to see everyone at a MULS event this year!
